Help needed- S52 swap wiring question

When I bought the s52 it did not come with the matching key, ecu and EWS. My question is will it be a problem if I use a different ecu, ews from another m52?
I've done my search but couldn't find the exact answer. Appriciate your helpful inputs.

An M52 ECU will not run an S52 correctly.

You can get an ECU and EWS stuff for a different S52 and it will work fine

I believe that the EWS has nothing to do with the ECU, you need a key and EWS relay box from the same car and just a ECU matched to your engine. Or just go full OBD1 and forget about all that crap.
