    Flywheel: m20 (325i e30)
    Clutch pressure plate: e30 325i
    Clutch disk: e30 325i
    Throwout bearing: e30 325i
    Pilot bearing: e34 525i (zf)

I'm thinking the main thing i'm unsure about is the throwout bearing.

    bumping this.

I'm in the same situation. I have a G260 right now and about to replace it with the ZF.
I assume that I'll be using the ZF release fork lever?

Still planning to use the m20 flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, and starter.

Obviously I need a new pilot bearing for the ZF.

But what about the throwout bearing? Do I use the one from the ZF or the G260?
Also, which clutch slave cylinder will be appropriate?

herlsy, what was your final setup?

Mine was $86, but they also did a full resurfacing job on it. I had them take the mass on the backside down to about 1mm above the ring gear.

          I used:

          ZF310
m20 Single Mass Flywheel (shaved off the backside)
m20 325i Pressure Plate, Disc, Throwout bearing
Larger inside diameter pilot bearing (from 1992 525i)

so it'd be the ZF clutch slave cylinder. but more specifically, the m3 clutch slave or the non-M clutch slave? which one will work better with the m20 clutch components?

A bit off topic but why did you guys decide to swap the G260 for the ZF?

Didn't want to mess with the trans brace/shift linkage, and came across a zf310 for cheap.

how's the clutch engagement point? right off the floor, just right, or way up high?

                        also, how stiff is it?
