Tach is pissing me off!!

Well, i was doing some minor wiring under the dash, and when i went to start the car afterwards i had no tach and no econogauge. Also, My OBC now doesnt seem to work properly anymore, it is all backlight, and no text shows through(basically a big orange light).

I just spent 3 weeks 3 days ago fixing the tach and ended up dropping 179$ on a new SI board. which also isnt lighting up anymore!

weird solution... this wire burnt up, when i refer to the diagram this wire is main power to both the tach and the OBC. when i did afew continuity checks between this wire and the OBC temp sensor which i knew was bad, i found almost 0 resistants, i also found almost 0 resistance to ground when i had the sensor plugged in, when i removed the sensor this ground resistant went away and i had no continuity to ground at this point



so, i fixed it


and the tach works again!

Nice! What does the new $179 SI board look like? Does it have a small section in the middle of the board and no batteries?

no... i got oem with batterys and all..lol, but now that you mention it and i searched it up i should have gone that route.. FUCK
