SMF vs DMF, where were they used?

I've been searching and reading Bentley for half of yesterday and still can't find it...

I'm trying to figure what came what cars came with SMF and what came with DMF flywheels, as for the M50/S50/M52/S52, before I tear everything apart, or go diging in the junkyard I'd like to know where I'll find an SMF and where I'd find a DMF, I plan to search soon And I've seen people using M20 flywheels, does that work out ok?

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

Off the top of my head, the m50 came with a DMF. The e30 325e came with a DMF, 325i came with SMF.

I'd search car-part.com if you cant find one in a yard.

All DOHC engines (rather, all E36 engines) came with a dual-mass (~25lbs). M20B25 came with single mass (18lbs). Etas came with both dual and single mass, but the single mass eta flywheel was still pretty big/heavy IIRC. M42s came with dual-mass as well, although I'm not sure about M10 cars.

I've got a lightened M20B25 flywheel on my M50, you may have to shave down the backside down to get some oil pan clearance but you are good as long as you match the clutch and starter to the flywheel.
