    Flywheel options with m50/260

Hey guys sorry if this has been beaten, but I have searched and can't find crap. If you have links, ill take those.

I am doing an M50 swap with the stock e30 325e tranny, Getrag 260 with the heavy dual mass flywheel.

What are my options for the flywheel? I can run a euro 323 flywheel right, shave my stock flywheel, shave the oil pan? What others are there? Where do I find the info on those alternatives?

Dude, if you'd read half of the threads in the first page of this section they pretty much cover this issue in entirety.

I've got s52 dual mass flywheel/clutch/pp and bearing, 260 lever and slave. I read on here that people had interference with e34 oil pan and s52 flywheel but it looked okay to me, although I do get a weird rattle/grinding noise and vibration through gearstick when I slip the clutch badly. Seem to be no ill effects so far and I can drive without doing this, but often when other people drive my car and aren't used to it they do it every few launches

You have not searched or read the two comprehensive threads stickied at the top of the page.

No one here is going to spoon feed you if you're too lazy to search.

Im sorry, I searched, and read the whole 3 page thread, searched in the 24V forum and transmission forum and found nothing. Me not wanting to read a 64 page thread to gain one peice of infomation is not lazy. Typing two sentences to be a dick when you could of answered the question is not neccesary.

When I know something and someone needs it, I pass on the knowlege.

P.S. Did you ever sell your S52 setup? If not want to part the starter and m20 flywheel?

I'm running a JB racing flywheel for an m20 car with my m52 g260 swap. Absolutely love it...with the exception of what it cost.
