How much should a rebuilt s50 go for?

Hey everyone, I have a rebuilt s50 with less than 5,000 miles on it currently running in my car. I was wondering how much I should sell it for. It is currently in my 325, and I am thinking of parting out the car, possibly selling all my swap parts. How much should one expect to get for a full swap with:
*rebuilt s50 (pistons, rings, valves, seats, vanos, bearings, much more) with less than 5k
    *getrag 260,
    *jb racing flywheel,
    *clutchmasters stage 4 clutch,
    *chip,
    *tms pulleys,
    *3.5" 540 Maf
    *itg intake
    *headers
*full exaust with no cat and B&B triflow muffler
*Giant aluminum radiator, I forget who its made by,
    *high flow water pump
*all the other essentials(mounts, wiring, ix brake booster, red label 413 comp, throttle cable, basically everythign for the swap.)

What would be a fair price?

Less than what you think. Euros and S54s are a whole lot cheaper these days. Anything more than $4k is a great deal for you IMO.

looks like you have a lot of money invested in your project. it would be worth a little more if the engine work was done by a reputable rebuilder than if it was done by you in your garage. not to say that you are not a good mechanic. i am sure you are, but as far as buyers are concerned, they would generally prefer a known quantity. the fact that you have 5000 test miles on the engine, would lend to the likelyhood that you or someone else did a good job. with that said, you can ask anything you want. if you actually wish to sell it in a reasonable period of time, i would say a good target would be 3000 if you rebuilt it yourself and maybe up to 3500 if it was rebuilt by company with a solid reputation. i'm pretty sure you have a ton more invested. times are tough these days. if you can afford to keep it, i suggest dropping the engine in another car and continue enjoying it.

If it includes all that, then I would imagine >$5000.

Part everything out. You'll reach a lot more potential buyers selling it in smaller pieces. Try selling the engine first, with an E36 oilpan/dipstick/pickup. The number of people wanting to drop in a $5,000 powertrain in their E30 is vanishingly small.
