well today i finally got my check engine light working...(the REAL check engine light) and of course i am greeted with it comming on on my first little drive after hooking it up. When i return home i run a stomp test and get code 1224, which is the iat sensor. I was about to order one on ebay, when i decided to make sure it was hooked up and correct. I check the 92 E34 ETM(engine i have) and it shows a brn wire and a green wire. I check mine and i have a single brn/gn wire going into it. I looked through the ETM for where a single brn/grn wire was going into something and couldnt find anything.....

EDIT: found it, i had the oil pressure sensor, and the IAT sensor backwards all this time. the plug for the oil pressure was on the IAT and vice versa.... wonder if ill notice an improvement in the engines running now?:p
