Can I get rid of these plugs?

The harness is from a 93 325 auto, there are 2 plugs that go with the O2 plug, I am pretty sure they are for the auto trans, just want to make sure before I delete them. Thanks in advance..

The first one I have never seen before (and I've done a NV swap), could very well be the tranny. The second one could be almost anything. Could be the IAT sensor plug. Do you have the IM on yet?

My harness was from an E34 auto but there was only one plug that went to the tranny. I'd be surprised if the two-wire plug was to the tranny.

The motor is all in and running. These two plugs are with the o2 plug.

I saw the same plugs on mine when i first bought it and was scratching my head for a little bit lol.

The round plug looks like it plugs into #11 here:

And i think the other one plugs into #4 here:

          I honestly don't know though..

never seen the round one with the white thing on it?!

peel the rubber boot back and give us the wire colors on the 2 prong one, like mentioned earlier it could be many things, oil pressure sensor and IAT come to mind. also the purge valve

also when looking for a check engine light, dont confuse it with the flashing 'Check' or hazard sign in the center of the dash.. this is NOT the CEL light, the proper CEL light is in the lower left hand side of the dash, and odds are its not hooked up(bulb unit is seperate from cluster)

I made a video becuase the internet was lacking one for E30 stomp tests... sorry the screen thing is upsidedown..... also ironically enough i was getting the IAt sensor code in this because i had it and the oil pressure wires backwords....

round w/wight is for the auto trans
the square 2 contact is for revers lights
the round w/4 contacts is the o2

so yes you can get rid of the 2 plugs but not the o2 plug
looking for a e30m50 swap harness adapter pm me $150 shipped

Round plug is for auto trans and the 2 pin is for the reverse lights. Get rid of them both. You need neither

Thanks a ton guys. One more question. I remember reading something about hooking 2 wires together when using an auto harness. I can't find that thread now. I did delete the main adapter for the auto from the harness bcant wait to get this harness wrapped up.

You can cut out the auto harness all the way back to the splices and everything that only attaches to that auto plug. Just dont cut out splices that are used for other parts of the harness. There is nothing you need to reconnect. Only connections you need to make are for c101 and for A/C in, Tach, VSS and Econo if you have an early model

Yea, I did that, I have 3 brown wires that are left. I am just gonna cut those because the car runs great without them Thanks
