S50 in a 91 318. no fuel, no spark, no inj puls

    ok, 95 S50. 506 silver lable ECU.

Car wont crank. I can jump a power wire from the dis block on the firewall to make it crank.
Fuel pump wont turn on. So no fuel.
When cranking the INJ do not have power.
ICV hums when key is off and out of the ing.
Auto harness was removed from the engine harness.

    Thats about it.

    Suggestions?

ok, just changed the CPS with another known CPS from a running E36 and still nothing.
Went back through and pulled off all my grounds and cleaned all the paint off from under them and still nothing.

sounds like wiring problems to me, mate! but beyond that, I am afraid I can't be too much help.

I know you've done many DOHC swaps, swap Jedi, but it really does sound like a wiring issue. I'd double check all your wiring.

          ok.. Finally done.
So I double and triple checked my wiring.
I went off of My own wiring chart, AKGs wiring chart, Jordans wiring chart and RMEs wiring chart. They are all exactly the same other then a few colors of the wires are different.
When my key is off the ICV will hum, When my key is on the ICV will not hum.
I turn the key and the starter wont turn at all.
The only thing I can think of is some how I got an ECU with EWS. I havent searched on how to figure this out yet, so if someone has an idea. Here are the numbers from my ECU.

          0 261 203 506 Silver lable.
          Number from the chip inside. 1 267 357 965 and 0 261 203 506.

even with ews the motor should still turn over just not start
first for the not crank, check and see that you have pin 18 to 18 (blk w/yellow striped) first. the trace the wire back through the body to the key switch (being that its a 318i it was a 5 speed so it does not have a nss) next make sure you have the right lead going to the bottom 10mm terminal on the starter (same blk w/yellow). check it for broken lose burn etc..

next for the no start try bypassing/ jumping the main pwr relay on the motor harness sometimes the later auto harness had a built in nss or something like it (black box with 4-5 wires in it that had to be switch on by the shifter or something) if that is the case you need a diff relay....ask me how I know.
looking for a e30m50 swap harness adapter pm me $150 shipped

Nope, With the C101 un hooked th ICV still hums. Even opening the whole harness and going through it we cant seem to find anything wrong.
I have another ECU that will be here today. Im going to try that and go from there.

As far as I know didnt almost all silver labels have EWS.?

I think I had an issue like this and it turned out to be a ground. I ended up just for fun running a grounded wire to the coils( even though i thought they were grounded) fixed all my probs . There are alot of grounds I would just double check from the engine strap to the top.

                    Found out the problem.
There was a black wire under the dash that ended up being cut.
It was really hard to see because it was still wrapped like factory. Come to find out the car had an alarm/keyless setup on it. So when it was removed that wire needed to be hooked back up.
                    Started riight up. :)

Awesome dude, glad it's running. I always get mixed feelings when shit like that happens. Mine didn't start, took me like two days to figure out the fuel lines were on wrong, everything else was fine. I burnt out a starter in the process.

Shit, I have been fucking with this wiring deal for a solid week.
I just gave up and said fuck it. But now it runs, sounds like a monster. I need to get insurance, inspection, reg and then go beat the shit out of it. :)
