Im searching for euro 323i FW.....p/n?

Hey all....
Ive read hrs of posts on the s50 swaps and using the getrag 260...

The oe m3 e30 clutch kit/or stock e30 kit, and a euro 323i fw appeals to me......but everytime I find the euro 323i part...it reads as twin mass?......can any1 help here?.....I assumed it was single mass?..Ive looked at e30 and e21 items( on realoem.com)

I find that Realoem isn't allways right with regards to Euro parts.
I have a single mass hare, I'll see if I can find a part No. but it may have been machined off.

I rather buy an oe fw that is lighter than stock than shave one down . And Im assuming the 323i fw will be cheaper than an 8 lb JB racing item.

Some info from a different site;

it depends which m20 flywheel you get wether you have to machine some of the back face off , the later m20 325i 525i use a heavier 10kg or so flywheel and they will need maching so it doesn't fowl on the sump .
but the early m20 flywheels are lighter 6.2kg 7.5kg 8.5kg 10.75kg etc depending on which engine and year it came from .

then the last ones and the eta models had the very heavy dual mass unit 12.5kg

the 325i clutch is used on my e36 325i with a chipped ecu , was just good enough , i never realy gave it a hard time but it lasted about 40,000km i had the car and was a used clutch to start with . i think it was starting to get a bit weak towards the end of the time i had it .


I think part of the problem with realoem&bmwfans is that they refer to single mass flys as dual mass. The diagrams they show are actually flywheels at the front and auto flex plates at the back. Adds to the confusion.

I cant find a part No. on mine, all I know is it's a m20 fly machined down to about 6.3kgs.
