im going to test for codes real quick and hopefully find something usefull
will any of the c101 splice send it to limp home mode? i only hooked up the basic ones to run,(ect, fuel, o2, starter rpm to autometer tach, vss to back of clustor) i think thats it but im probly forgeting one
does the tach signal need to go to the ecu somewere or does it not matter if i wire it straight to a tach from the x20 connector?

i read somewere of a similar problem that was solved by isolating the o2 heater relay but couldnt find it in a search. does anyone know what this is about, or how to do it? i guess the heater would be robbing power from the fuel pump... or maybe sending false o2 signals?

/\ its the same as a e36 you just need power to pin 19 I think. Don't quote me on that one. If you search you can find the answer.

thats what i was looking for, although it seems way to simple...

on all my diagrams and testing i found that the c101 sends 12v to the o2 relay and fuel pump relay seperatly (pin 6- o2) (pin 13- fp).
im going to assume this is incorrect since nobody wires the two seperatly to the relay control ternimals.

i did the jump to fuse 11 and put some good gas in and took it for a spin around the block, althought not pushing it up to 5k it didnt seem as jerky so if its not actually fixed i will try what i stated in the above and see how that works out. please give me some input on that idea i dont want to fry anything, thanks

well its still doing the same thing, just looses all power and backfires at 4,000.
i took it to school today and put it on the 5-gas analyser and got these readings

from the looks of this i should pass emissions depending on who drives it but i still really need to firgure out whats going on with the engine. does anyone have an idea?
