What serpentine belt for deleted ps?

    Hey guys,
I have been searching everywhere and cannot find what belt you all use when you delete your power steering pumps. I am running a m52 if that makes a difference.

I used a stock R53 Mini Cooper S belt. I didn't have the aux pulley on the alternator, just like in the picture above. It was perfect. Thought I'd mention that as it was an off-the-shelf item (not that most serp belt lengths won't be, it's just easier to deal with some parts guys when you've got a Make and Model).

Yup, this is what I used too. You can get one at any auto parts store.

Just ordered this belt and it does work. Part # is 11287520199 and the #'s on the belt are 6KX1388.

I think the goodyear part number would be a 4060561 or 4060560

              Or 560k6
              or 561k6

              You get the idea.

                M50 serpentine belt

What size serpentine belt would you run on an M50 if you are only running an alternator and power steering pump (NO A/C compressor) ?
                Thanks

A/C compressor is on a separate belt. Assuming you are running all the regular accessories (alt, PS, water pump) then you would just need a regular sized belt (6PK1460 IIRC)

A normal one. A/C has it's own belt.

Ok very good that's what I thought just wanted to be sure. Trying to not buy any of the wrong parts or anything that won't work for my application on the M50 swap. Thanks so much for the prompt reply! :D

To add data to the thread...

I kept my idler pulley and a 56.25in belt is the perfect size.

                          Is that an 850 alternator?

Am i missing something?? I used the Mini cooper s belt # and it comes up to be 60 inches.
Went to pep boys and told him i need a 56.1 inch serp.belt and still its too long.
We measured the whole length of where the belt would go with a tape mesure and we got 40.75 inches. WTF!!!??? What am i doing wrong?

                              Probably routing the belt wrong
