Preforming a swap...got a question or 2.

Hey all,

Ive got just about every part I need so far...just need to clarify something.

I have an 87 325is, I need to get a new radiator/expansion tank. Will an e36 radiator/tank mount in my current mounts? Besides the hoses, do I need any other parts to make that work?

You'll have to get a late model upper radiator bracket, which is supposedly like $10 from the dealer. My M42 radiator sits on the lower supports in my '87 just fine, but I had to ziptie the top to secure it because I haven't gotten around to getting the bracket yet.

And yes, E36 and late E30 M20 rads are more or less the same, and M42 rads share the same mounting points with them.
