    Calling all 24v swap gurus

Good morning thats what it is for me hahaha
I'm having a problem here...I checked the search and I'm not having any luck...please dont fry me yet.....I know that we have to use the temp sender from the m20 so we can make the temp gauge work in our cluster my question is where do I put this sender/sensor....do i have to drill the head or is there somewhere else that this sender/sensor bolts onto also what does this plug up to my past swaps were done by my friends which I have no longer have contact with because personal matters:( I'm running m52 motor with m3 cams with obd1 conversion TURBO..The swap is complete the car is tuned from a previous set up which I know it works but I'm afraid of turning up the boost because I don't know if I'm running HOT I dont want to over heat the motor....
Any help would be greatly appreciated I thank you all in advance because you guys got me through this swap without no problems and special thanks to greg for that awesome wiring adapter....Pics would be bigger help I'm not very familiar with alot of technical lingo...thanx again Scott

You can drill and tap the head right next to the DME coolant sensor (sounds harder than it is) or get a inline splice for one of your radiator hoses and put the sensor in that.

Remove the throttle body heater lines and re-tap the M20 brown one pin sensor.

M52 heads have a spare port already tapped right beside the coolant sensor with a bolt plug in it.

only the S motors did not have this

M52...you can see the bolt plugging it right between the throttle body port and the coolant temp sensor

Wrong. Both m/s52 heads from late 95 early 96 had the extra port. Past that none did.

yeah, in total, first should be the DME temp sensor, second M20/E30 one, and third is the nipple for throttle body heating.
