I am having to piece together a drive shaft since i can not find a 4 bolt e36 manual drive shaft anywhere.
the drive shaft that came with my S52/zf tranny was a 6 bolt and i thought it was supposed to be a 4 bolt, come to find out that since my motor came out of a 1996 M3 that the 6 bolt was still in use.
i found a rear section 4 bolt from a E36 325 automatic so i planned on using the rear half 4 bolt piece and then using the front shaft from the manual transmission 6 bolt drive shaft and then an e30 center support bearing.
has anyone else had to do this? did it work length wise? and if so did you have to get it re balanced or did you just run with it and it worked out fine?
