Anyone looking for a motor or an upgrade? How bout exhaust sections?

About to create a f/s part out thread. Just gauging interest in my big ticket items in this forum before perhaps wasting my time putting up a premature f/s thread over there.

Everything has less than 6k miles, I'm talking about...

My top end... VAC Stage 2 Head, with VAC Rebuilt/Modified Vanos, New OEM Lifters, VAC Race Timing Chain Kit, and Sunbelt Cams - price it out, comes to ~$4500, not including price of core. Would sell for $3200

My bottom end... CP 11:1 87mm pistons, completely rebuilt bottom end, e34 m50 oil pan, pick up, pump, etc - PARTS ALONE, not including price of core, totals about $2150. Would sell for $1500.

Have a new VAC s50 swap oil pan baffle uninstalled that could be thrown in that bottom end deal for an extra $100. Listed at $200 at VAC.

    Exhaust set up:

Euro s50 headers, which are expensive and timely to find and get shipped! Let alone the pain in the ass of import duty fee's you get hit with later on. Anyway, $500 would get it quick.

Euro s50 midpipe, includes cats and resonators and now has o2 bungs welded in. Same deal with the shipping from uk, just as much as a pita as the headers. From me though would be $600 and no headaches.

Stromung e36 Catback - Modified to fit e36 mid on e30 chassis - $635 new, $120 for modification - Again, save the time and headache $600

Complete set up: $1500, Really sounds SICK in person, and no bullshit get compliments on my exhaust note all the time. ABSOLUTELY no rasp, NONE. LOVE it. Quiet rumble at idle, nice tone around town, then all hell breaks loose above 4.5-5k WOT. Was perfect for me.

anyway, back to the point of this thread... any interest in these items? if so I will pull the car apart next nice day out and put up a f/s thread. Reason for parting the motor itself is simply because I think it'd be quicker to unload than to wait around for the right e30 sick fellow with the cash flow to take the whole thing for what it's worth. In pieces will allow a broader target market for me obviously.

No, you're not convincing me to keep everything in one piece and in the car. I'm tired of dumping money into this car. Someone else can enjoy these parts, I know I did beating e46 m3's even with 20whp missing at my wheel without the fine tune complete

For the record, i would consider a partial trade for a complete running motor. I'm going to have to put something back in my shell, either for me to keep the shell or sell later on.

After motor is sold, will consider selling e30 m3 coilover suspension with GC Camber plates, brand new front wheel bearings, new coilovers/springs, new brakes/bads, completely rebuilt calipers all around, e38 basketweaves with BFGoodrich KDW2's, and 17x8 and 17x9 FORGED M-systems with 0 mile dunlop star specs on them.

Not to throw fuel on the fire...

...but if you do proceed, I'd be seriously interested in the Stromung catback. Only problem is I'd need it at my door no later than a month from now.
