One of the 4 bolts that secure the passenger side engine mount to the block is broken in the block.
There are 6 holes on that side, two by two by two...the broken bolt is in the bottom furthest to the back of the engine.
I've tried all the typical removal 'tricks' (lube for days, heating, vice grips, about to do the reverse drill bits but I think they wont work)...no luck.
My question is, do we use the back 4 or the front 4 holes, and if we use the back four...would using really high quality bolts be ok in 3 out of four holes?
Getting the block to a machine shop would be a uber PITA for me.
And I don't have a welder, I suppose I could find someone with one to come over and try welding a nut too it still.
Bah.
