looks like i need a new clutch

the other weekend my clutch started to act up...started to slip and had to remove my adjustable clutch stop to gain some extra travel to allow the clutch to disengage. It's been about 3 years since I completed my swap. I drive hard but a clutch should last longer [I would think] I have a stroked M50 with a zf trans from a 95 m3. I'm trying to remember what I used for a pressure plate/throwout bearing/clutch disk but its a little foggy as I originally started the swap with a getrag 260 out of the donor car [93 E36]

so some help on what to replace with would be appreciated.

    I think I would need:
    93 325 m50 pressure plate and disc
    95 m3 throwout bearing

I would entertain the idea of a lighter flywheel [I do still have my M20 flywheel and starter, but I didn't go with the M20 flywheel 3 years ago because I thought the engine would idle rough with it being stroked.

Or I could go with a Ebay F1 racing flywheel kit [I have read on this forum that some people have had good experiences with them]

    thanks!

it won't idle rough, tons of people use the m20 flywheel. you will have to machine the back to get some clearance.

whats your m50 setup as far as crank/rods/pistons? just curious.

I'm using e36 m3 clutch kit and flywheel. I'm using the ebay F1 kit along with my friend in his e36 and we haven't had any problems other than MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL IT CORRECTLY. My friend didn't and we almost broke the transmission.
I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

I don't have any real info on the engine. it was rebuilt and stroked by dinan some time ago the person i bought it from didn't have any records [and neither did dinan] When i swapped the oil pan i checked the crank numbers and the crank is from a diesel m50 [i think it was that was few years ago] I keep meaning to get it dynoed.

I will do some research on swapping to the M20 flywheel on here as I have all the bits...not sure on the state of the starter though, it's been sitting for 3 years!
