86es SWAP DONE-Lovin it!!

In November of 2009 I got this project in my head. I searched the forums, gathered info, looked for an E30, and drove myself crazy. 12/1/09 I bought an 86es (for $400) that had been sitting since April due to a broken timing belt. When I bought the car I removed over 2 bags of trash from it!

The car now has M50 Vanos, E36 rack, black interior, Alpine stereo with amps/sub, M42 rad, all new hoses, tons of other stuff, tons and tons of my time!

Ordering all new bushings from IE this week, as well as braided lines, H&R sports, Bilstein sports, new control arms with m3 bushings, I have a set of 14 inch weaves but may have a hookup for iX 15's and I think I just found a 4.10lsd-the 2.93 takes forever to wind out!!

The pics worked for me. Awesome work man! You've done some major surgery on that car. I'm about two weeks out from starting an M50 swap in my 87 eta. Your car has come a long way from what it was, you are giving me hope that my car can be great again too.

Thanks guys. I still have some finish work to do on the bumpers, just haven't had time. I also need to get the odo working. I have been driving it as much as possible and it's been awesome. Obviously I didn't even drive the car before the swap, it was kind of weird putting a motor in and taking off-not knowing if the brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, etc were in working order.
