    Bad Starvation Problem

    Ive got a really bad fuel starvation problem. im running an m50 in an 87, so I have the old dual pump set up. i wanna replace my intank fuel pump. what pump do you guys recommend?

    Have you checked the actual functionality of the pump? Are you sure you need a new pump? Maybe you have a clogged line, or better yet, filter.

      Thats possible, but that is not what I asked. I want to know what fuel pump I can buy to replace the intank pump. anybody know?

        The in tank pump is just a transfer pump. It's a little dinky plastic thing, so I guess you could buy a BMW one to replace it.

          Cool, BMW... Any others?

          On my 325e lemons car we just put a Hi Pressure in the tank, but I was just curious what others were doing.

            Dead pump, repalced it with a drop in unit from AutohausAZ. works great. not starvation even with the reserve light on.
