to put euro s50 ITB's on a US m50/s52, you need a two piece adapter. It CAN be done with one piece, but it's much more complicated. Pictured here:

The TPS hits the vanos solenoid, so you have to modify that:

And also, the oil filter housing needs to be shortened to use the m42 oil filter:

You'll be better off starting with s54 throttle bodies, like i did:

Same here, I can tell crap from the pic but I don't think I see an adapter or anything to fit it to the head?
Hope this thread results in some useful info.

lifeiskaos: thanks for the info, I posted late.
What difference did you reigister? Better throttle response? Power gain?
The story could be different with Euro S50 ITB to Euro M50nv right?

I'm also wondering what had to be done to delete the HFM...

Engine isn't running yet :( but I don't expect any power gains really... Just a higher powerband (due to short, big runners), better response, better sound, and "cool points."

The only difference in putting euro s50 ITB's on a nonvanos is that the vanos solenoid won't interfere with anything... since there isn't one ;)

So the german guy says it also needs an adapter and probably a ECU reprogram for deleting the HFM.
Dbilas sells a new ready made ITB kit for 2200€ :D
