    OBDI S52: No fuel! Help!

I have my S52 all wrapped up inside my tiny E30. It cranks and cranks very well. but........

Problem is, I am getting no fuel to the rail. I cannot hear the pump priming the system when the key is turned to the on position.

The wiring was done by someone with a good amount of knowledge and skill, so I hope thats not the problem.

I looked up the pin out chart and Pin 13 is for the fuel pump, and the two green violet wires are attached to each other, so I am unsure of why its not getting any fuel. I didnt check the fuel relay, simply because i didnt know which one it was.

Is there anyway to hardwire the fuel pump so I can see if thats the only reason why the car isnt starting? It would be nice to start it to give me that piece of mind that I only have one problem left to fix. haha and it would be nice to get the car out of the auto shop parking space its in, cause I am paying money everyday just to have the car sit there, and it would be much nicer to have it closer to my room to wrap it up.

I appreciate any and all help.

to hard wire the fuel pump you only need to ground the right pin on the fuel pump relay...
so first thing first check the relay, make sure its a 4 pin not a 5 pin relay as well
if you post a pic of the relays I sure someone can point out which on it is

Turns out it was more than just no fuel, the whole wiring harness was crap.

Just got done pulling one from a 95 M3. Tomorrow I am going to install it on the E30, and hopefully it fires up!

what was the problem with the first harness, make sure you address the problem before you re-install another harness/dme and it happens again

I have been driving my car for a good month or so now, and everything was great. Until yesterday I got to my destination, parked it for about an hour, then came back out and they car wouldnt start anymore. The car seem to crank just fine, but it just wont start, when I put my ears on the pump I do not hear it move, but when I put a volt meter to the terminals on the plug that power the pump it does get voltage at every crank of the key???? anyone has any idea of what's going on and the 3 relays up front, which one is which?

So the pump is only getting power when the engine is cranking then? That is exactly what is supposed to happen. Is the pump running running at this time though? Check if fuel is being delivered, check for spark.

The fuel pump relay is the one with these 4 wire colours:
                1)green/brown
                2)green/violet
                3)red (large)
                4)red/white
Since you already described that the fuel pump is getting the power it is supposed to that isn't the problem though.

found it, the plug that is powering the fuel pump was cracked. so the power was on and off due to bad connection.
