Haha yeah. I know about the hot cam swap, but what software? Can a larger mass air be used, like what's done on the s50/52's?

I mean more in the for of a chip. Motec would cost more then the car.

*shrug* A custom tune with cams and headers might get you there, but the general consensus among the ITS guys was that Motec was worth 10-15rwhp over anything you could do with the stock engine management.

210bhp or 210whp? Forget the latter. You can be at around 200bhp (170whpish) with just a mark d chip.

M50NV will put down 170whp stock, I've seen it done.

I think with a W.A.R chip with a custom tune, 19lbs injectors, headers and intake mods you might get between 190whp and 200whp. I'll tell you soon.

hmmm...don't tell that to my engine....205+ whp on a mustang dyno. stock cams, stock injectors, stock maf, stock ecu. all it has is a CSS motorsports B&B job, custom tune and KK headers. ;)

So what sort of gains are likely from a Mark D chip over stock on the nv? Their website doesn't seem to offer much other than rev limits.

205whp on a bone stock M50NV, with stock tune, and headers and exhaust? Forgive me if I'm skeptical.

That engine has been blueprinted and balanced by Chuck Stickley. (Probably for $Texas.) I figure cams and motec balance out the work Stickley might do.
