Anybody use the stock brake booster?

Anybody use the stock one just moved over like an inch? Easy, hard to do?

I think E30polak is making modified intake manifolds to clear the stock one, You will need to modify it as I had to shave the fins on mine using a ix booster which has a smaller diameter. IMO why bother just do a ix booster and be done.

e30tech has the DIY instructions in their Non-stock swaps forum.

The upshot is that you notch the holes and scoot it over half an inch or so. Its what I intend on doing in then next two weeks when I get the motor in.

when you do this dont you also have to notch the holes in the pedal box bracket since it attaches to the booster as well?

Porsche 944 booster is the best, i have NO idea why people are even bothering with other options.

I had to shim the fuck out of my driver's side engine mount to make my ix booster work even with the fins shaved off (too much off actually). I'm using IE yellow e28 mounts and the outer slotted hole in the subframe.

Surprisingly the driveshaft alignment didn't change, maybe because the x-member is bolted up already.

                              Anybody else have this issue?
