    FPR solution

    Hey guys,

I was looking over everything on the engine today while waiting for weather to get better to put it in when i noticed that my fuel rail doesn't have the pressure regulator mounted on it. After looking in realoem I discovered that it is mounted somewhere closer to the fuel filter on e36s. What are my options to get a FPR mounted? Is there any way I can use the oem setup from the e36 or will i have to get an aftermarket adjustable? Or should I just grab a fuel rail from an e36 that has the FPR mounted?

    Are you staying OBD II?

Get an OBD I fuel rail, it has the FPR built in.

Or you can buy an external FPR and plumb it in no problem.

It's an OBD1 engine but from 1/95 the fuel rail didn't have the FPR mounted on it.

Try searching "fuel pressure regulator" or "FPR" or something similar and see how much useless garbage comes up.

I'll just grab a fuel rail tomorrow with the FPR on it and toss it on..simple enough!

Some oBD 1 E34 models don't have a regulator on the rail.
I encountered this with the harness I bought.
