Has anyone used this kit? I have a ODBII installed S52 and this kit looks like it would get me back to the ODBI benefits of more air.

Also, is the larger MAF just plug in play or do I need new software?
Is this a better solution than the 540i one?

I have used the earlier incarnation of M50manifold.com's adapter. It was a series of barbs and vacuum hoses. The new silicone piece is a lot better looking. It's not that bad of an install for someone familiar with the BMW intake system, but people that are uninitiated to the maze of crap down there will emerge 8 hours later with cut up hands.

The larger MAF is not plug and play. It'll plug, but it will not play. You need new software.
