Theres a few pin-out maps around here of the c101, coupled with a searchable pdf of the ETM for whatever car you got yours out of, and you're in business. Just go CTRL+F through the ETM for every instance of X20, and notate what you find. I have an excel file of what worked for my car on my other computer. I could get it to you on Monday if you wanted, BUT my b32 is out of an MZ3 coupe, which has 2 or 3 differences from the M3 3.2l.

Wow dude, not so many short words :S I must say I don't understand what you are talking about.
I tried wiring it up yesterday without any luck, the start motor will not go around and the fuel pump will not work eater. So I think I done everything wrong then....

You can double check the function of each wire with the ones in your E30 M3 ETM. And in case you don't know this yet, you should always refer to pin numbers rather than wire colors.

Sorry...
ETM: Electronic Troubleshooting Manual (basically BMW's wiring diagrams)
pdf: an adobe acrobat file
CTRL+F: A shortcut for searching in adobe acrobat. Hold the "control" and the "F" key at the same time and you can search for stuff
X20: The e36 engine harness/chassis harness connector's name
c101: The e30 engine harness/chassis harness connector's name
MZ3: The "M" version of the Z3, which came with the s50b32 in europe
These are all standard acronyms/terms you should probably already be familiar with if you are serious about tackling this swap. Seriously though, I would double check any adapter map you get by going through the ETM's. I probably spent 10-15+ hours just going through wiring diagrams to create my own personal adapter map for the x20/c101 junction, not to mention the EWS, all the grounds, power supplies/distribution, fuel pump relay harness, etc. And the best part was, my b32 fired up the first time I turned the key. Remember, the MSS50 DME does not take kindly to stray +12vdc flowing where it shouldn't be...
Got her fired up, but new problems is discovered. The diagram I used is nothing like the one posted over here. See new thread for the problems I have discovered.
Starting to get pretty frustrated now....Started the project late january and not done yet!
