Hey guys,
I finally got to hear the rumble of my m50 last night after a year of working on my swap. Boner. :p However - I am trying to ID some vacuum lines and answer a few questions that I'm still confused about.
The first - is the vacuum line from the throttle body (not the coolant lines) - where does it lead to? I can't seem to find any sort of diagram on realoem
Second is the one on the intake manifold in the rear by the sensor and brake booster - I don't think they go to each other but I suppose that would be smack-me-in-the-face-obvious wouldn't it?
Next question pertains to deleting the charcoal canister. I plugged the extra line by the main fuel source, what else needs plugging?
Lastly, I used a remote reservoir for my new booster, but I don't know what to do with the clutch line now. What did you guys do? I was thinking of getting a longer piece of fuel line and running it to my other power steering reservoir since I am not using it now.
I just graduated the 8th of this month and I head home tomorrow (2 hours away). The owner of the shop I've been working at is going to fab me an exhaust this week and make the car road worthy (inspection, alignment, etc.) - I'm really freakin close to getting this thing running and I have ~4-5 hours tomorrow to see it move under its own power for the first time in just under a year. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks r3v!
