quick clutch question

this is for my buddy's e36, not e30, but i trust your opinions. it's a 325i vanos with getrag 250. he's doing the clutch and wants to go ahead and upgrade to a lightweight flywheel while he's in there. he's thinking of the ebay F1 flywheel and e36 m3 s52 clutch. the ebay listing says that flywheel only works with the s52 clutch, not the s50? is this true? i thought they were both 240mm?

so my basic questions are:

who's using the ebay f1 flywheel and with what clutch and how do you like it?

any other recommendations for m50 lightweight flywheel and clutch setup besides the m20 singlemass setup?

any replies are appreciated, i'm trying to order the parts today so let me know what you think guys!

well he ended up buying the ebay f1 flywheel and e36 3.2 clutch kit, so we'll see how that goes. thanks for all the replies dudes!

The alignment dowels on the pressure plate do not line up afaik. Good luck with that.

on that flywheel in general? just as a defect? or are you saying the 3.0 is different from the 3.2 in that sense?
