M50-M50 Swap-Engine Only??

My M50 has a cracked head. I found a 95k motor that I am picking up, I am just gonna swap motors. Is it a lot harder to just swap the engine rather than the engine and trans together??

well it's not hard but not easy to get the trans bolts out when its in the bay all the engines i have pulled out of bmws i have pulled the trans too plus lining up the input shaft will be challenging when you put it back in i would pull them together

its so easy and painless to pull this engine, tranny, headers as one vs reaching the tranny bolts that i'd rather pull everything out at once to save time and effort. Just my .02.
