    S50 with M50 ecu

Getting ready to put the ol S50 in and question about a 413 red label from an m50.
Will there be an problem useing the m50 413 for start up and testing.??? Don't plan on driving it until I get a TMS chip and injectors/3.5 maf

I've done research and couldn't find the anwser
BTW. There is a red label s50 ecu on eBay but it has the same part # as mine so how the hell does one know what engine it came from short of taking it apart to see the chip

    TIA

It's fine for limited use. Avoid WOT.

      The difference is the chip.

It will be safe-- I drove my S52 car with the standard 413 for a month while buttoning the conversion up and before I paid for/recieved my TRM chip. I drove it short distances in and around our business park and it is fine if you aren't driving hard/spinning it up.
