Help me get picnic ready S52 89 325i

Hey guys, I am trying to get my swap done before the e30 picnic and I am running out of days off before then. I need a few questions answered so I can make the most of the time I have. The car is an 89 325i and the engine is an obd1 converted s52 from a swapped 95 M3.

    1. I am going to use an m42 318i radiator. Which hoses do I use? the e36 upper is too long and if i trim it i will loose the flared thermostat end.

    2. Everyone posted troubles with swapped fuel lines. Save me the trouble of doing it wrong the first time. Which fuel lines go where?

    3. I haven't put the charcoal canister in yet either because i was unsure of which lines and plugs/valves go where. How does the charcoal canister hook up? Can I please see a picture?

    4. Can somebody take a picture of the wire hookups on the power distribution block? In the battery tray on the passenger's side. There is 1 or 2 wires I am not 100% they are hooked up right.

Things I still need: An EWS delete chip, my donor m3 has a silver label 413 with dinan chip but i dont think it has ews delete. I also still need to figure out a driveshaft. The m3 has a 6 bolt rear flange which doesnt help. I am using the zf gearbox.

That might be all my big hicups for now, thanks in advance guys.

IIRC, the return line goes up front.

Are you using the stock E30 one, or the E36 one? The stock E30 is really easy, just run a line to the throttle body and plumb in the evap solenoid in between.

    4. Can somebody take a picture of the wire hookups on the power distribution block? In the battery tray on the passenger's side. There is 1 or 2 wires I am not 100% they are hooked up right.

You want the driveshaft from a 96+ E36 M3 or 328i. Some rare early eta driveshafts apparently also work.

Chipwise, you need one that explicitly deletes EWS. It's highly unlikely that the one you have will work.

You'll also want a chip specifically for the OBD1 S52. I have them listed on my site here:

And all of my chips do delete EWS. Shoot me a PM or an email if you'd like a coupon code to save some money or if you have any other questions.
