randomly dies and will start back up after a few minutes

Well its been a year since I finished my swap. And randomly today my car died while slowing down or releasing the clutch. and it sat there and I cranked it over and nothing after letting it sit maybe 5 minutes it started back up and died then started up and ran fine.

its done this twice and has me alittle worried seeing as I depend on this vehicle. onlything done recently was the fuel filter (previous one had 200k on it) and I replaced all the lines. but that was a day or two ago? doubt it has anything to do with this problem.

also its a m50 with 134k on it now.

Well if its OBD1 it only needs to have crank signal for the ECU to spark.
That will also get the ECU to turn on the fuel pump.

Why don't you try just putting some newer relays in your engine harness for Fuel pump and main.

A fuel pressure tester wouldn't hurt to see if it kills fuel pressure when you are trying to crank.
