so we installed the JB racing flywheel with clutchmaters clutch today since I am still waiting on the CF box and my DME.. I should have the swap in by saturday or latest monday.. hopefully by end of next week drive train will be ready and then we can shoot the paint.. the last thing will be interior..
Notice that we have a torque wrench and everything on this car will torqued to specs..
Today we painted the bumpers and the spoilers. Hopefully by next weekend we should be done with engine swap and paint. Then we will work on the cosmetics.. stay tuned.
My swap is done just need to get the right booster in so I can get the CF box to clear. I am in need of an inch of clearance.. i using AKG motor mounts, the expensive mounts. lol. Should I go with e28 m5 mounts instead, will that help my engine positioning..In my previous car I used the AKG mounts and they were fine with the Geo Metro booster but I hate the Metro booster.. Any advice..
today we modified a Geo Metro booster (small version) and mate it with e30 m3 master cylinder. It wasnt a direct fit since we had to modify the MC housing and the inner shaft of the booster. I know it will be much better than having the Geo MC for sure..
so i finally got the smaller version Geo booster and modified it to fit with the e30 m3 MC. it wasnt had but it wasnt easy either.. Now I have clearance with the CF box. I also received my flashed dme and had the car started for the first time today..
