FINALLY!!!!!
After changing;
-TPS
-Intake temp sensor
-Water temp sensor
-Two coils with boots
-Spark plugs
-Crank sensor
-Both cam sensors
-Dr.Vanos rebuildt Vanos
-Both o2 sensors
I noticed that the DME was generally hot, more hot than I wanted it to be.
Diagnostic was showing no intake temp signal, so intake temp sensor was changed, but there was still a fault on the sensor. I then checked the wiring at everything was ok.
I then got a request from a guy that was building a PnP V-Pec v44 for the S50B32, he needed a car to test it on, and I was closest. So he visited and plugged in, and then he got normal reading from the intake temp sensor.
That got me thinking.
So at last I got to try another S50B32 DME, and BANG!!! it runned as hell when still warm!
I got lucky and sourced a used DME, flashed it with Alpha-N, performance software on vanos and ignition/fuel, remove v-max and EWSII.
Finally I have gotten the felling of how a S50B32 SHALL run, and it runs like hell! The DME is still in the self tune phase with the new software, probably takes about 20-30 hours before it has tuned it self completely.
I never would have thought that the intake temp had so much affect on the engine, since it also reads temp from the MAF as well.
Cheers
