    oil pan

    I will be installing a new oil pan on my m50nv engine this weekend, is there anything I should be watching for when I change to the oil pan.Could someone tell me the torques required for the main bearing caps>

    20 N-m, then a torque angle of 50°.

        No. You can probably fashion one from a CD and a protractor or something like that, or go to Canadian Tire and buy one for $10.

          oilpan can be done with out a torque wrench, just be very careful about stripping the threads out.
