    S50 3.5 HFM Question

Ok...getting ready to install this S50 soon.I have a set of 21.5 lb injectors, but no 3.5/euro HFM yet!.

Does the 3.5 HFM make that much of a difference in performance??

tring to decide on which TRM chip to order.with or without the HFM,or just injectors/light flywheel.. i have a lead on a euro HFM!!

hmm....i have to research the cost/benefits of this more. surely they are all items that can be added later right? I have yet to swap the s50 in, but haven't justified the upgrade yet until i get all the drivetrain parts sorted.

Just so you're aware, if you want to change your chip later there's usually no extra fee for that, just pay shipping both ways and whatever extra $ the upgrade would be.

And PM me when you're ready to order so I can send you a coupon code. :)

Does it really make that much of a difference though? I know that matt himself has said it makes a marginal difference. I have a 3.5HFM and I sent my chip to trm to get re-burnt for it but I'm just sayin...

I have nothing to compare to my engine has had the 3.5 HFM on it since I first started it, my DME came with a chip for no HFM though.

I used both on my car, and they behave differently. I saw a bit more low-end with the 3", and more top end with the 3.5". It may have been a placebo effect, but throttle response was definitely better with the 3"

Really? I thought it was supposed to get better with the 3.5" MAF.

I'm doin the 3.5" HFM upgrade now but I won't be able to tell a diff just from that. m50 is getting s50 cams, pink top injectors and TRM chip all at the same time.
