    Engine accelerates itself in idle

    Hello everyone

I just swaped an s52 obd1 (new sensors everything new oem) to my car. Apart from that I added the Turner package (cams, chip, injectors).
The problem is when I start (morning start) the engine accelerates up to 3500rpm! and then will slowly go down up to 1000rpm mark and stay there idling just perfect.
After a while around 20 or 30 seconds the engine will accelerate itself again to 3500rpm and stay there.

What could be causing this? a bad dme? :(

Probably vacuum leaks, that or the ICV.

        Thanks guys!

I started the car today and it idles perfect with no vibrations or anything that makes you think that it could have a vac leak, but suddenly it accelerates and holds to 3500 rpm. This is so weird :???:

well I guess I'm going to check deeper for leaks.

Try checking the TPS sensor if its reading correctly. That's all I could really think of.
