    Exhaust for E30 M50

    I'm currently running E36 M3 3.2 manifolds, e36 325 cat, and e30 supersprint exhaust.

My car is very quiet which keeps attention down. Yet I really miss my DEC high flow cat and Stromung exhaust that I had with my m20.

If I ordered another e30 DEC cat and Stromung exhaust, do you guys think they would flow well enough to handle the m50 output? What if in the future I turbo'ed my M50 or did a 3.2 stroker?

I'm not really keen on the idea of spending close to $1g on a DEC Cat and stromung, but I really miss scaring the piss out of old ladies and children.

Why dont you just have a custom center section made and run a stromung rear section. Itll probably sound the same and will more than likely be able to handly future mods.

FWIW, the Stromung sounds AWESOME in harmony with the m50 intake growl.

I'm running on VERY limited funds (I went into the M50 swap with two credit cards, and $300), so I'm wondering:

Should I just leave my stock 325i exhaust where it is? Would a magnaflow muffler help any?

Megaflow made my car really really loud... even with an extra silencer between the cat and the muffler... my car sounds nothing like an l6... just fyi :)

I had the magnaflow hooked up to my stock system a while back with the M20B25, and it sounded awesome, just a bit loud because there were various leaks in the exhaust. Now that I have a hole-free exhaust (thanks alex) I might try out that very same Magnaflow.
Now hearing that it helped, I definately will.
