E30 s50 swap code's

i just got 2 codes but now only have one...

All i did to my car today was full the cooling system up today and drove it around abit and it started to run funny.

First code i got was a 1222... witch is supposed to be a O2 sensor code but my o2 is brand new

I am no longer getting that code but now i have a 1281 witch is a DME Memory Supply code. the car has been running fine before this and i dont know why all the sudden its doing this.

My ECU is a Silver label 506 im going to try my friends 413 red label with my chip in it and see if it runs ok or not.

Does anyone have any idea's what other things could cause this.

I thought 1281 was a knock sensor. Its been too long for me :P

check your c101 connector and relays

it is actually running good now i let it idle for 15-20mins and at first it started to stumble and what not but i kept it running and it smoothed out and the check engine light went away and it revs smooth as it did before this happened..

also found my ground that goes from the engine to body was alittle loose

I solved my 1281 by bracketing the ECU in. Try either grounding the case or backing it if you haven't.

Check on the o2 sensor heater wiring, that would be my best guess.

my ECU not being mounted could be a issue b/c right now its not..

im going to mount the ECU, tighten a ground i found loose..

right now the car is running good after letting it run for 20mins.

I've got the same engine code but no start.
