    318i Brake Master Cylinder [Question]

Everything I read mentions the E30 Brake master cylinder to be adequate when upgrading brake boosters. I assume it meant 325i,e,is,ex not 318i which is inferior. Right? They have different part numbers. Do I need to swap?

FYI: I am going with a 944 brake booster on my 1984 318i

So you have a 318 with rear drum brakes? Yes the master cylinder is smaller, yes you need to upgrade.
