So I finally started my 24v swap and it's going pretty smoothly so far. I have an m50b25 that's going in with less then 90xxx miles on it. I have only a week to finish the engine swap do to the fact I'm in the process of moving out. I could use all the help that I can get. I'm doing pretty well with everything so far but I do have a question regarding the shift linkage. I am using my 240 tranny and I know I need to shorten the linkage but where on the linkage. NOOB question I know but I'm stumped. Well on to some pictures. http://s993.photobucket.com/albums/af54/brian91318is/?action=view¤t=IMG_0188.jpg#!oZZ1QQcurrentZZ http%3A%2F%2Fs993.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Faf54% 2Fbrian91318is%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DIMG_ 0192.jpg%26

Right in the center.... cut two inches on the shifter carrier and 2" 1/8 on the selector rod, thats what I did.

Second that. I cut my shifter and selector rod. I used a piece of wood and cut out enough for the selector rod to fit in, then cut an inch out , then fit it back in the wood. This kept it straight while I welded. Perfect Good luckNASA
