    Tach help! 24v Swap

So, I've almost finished my 24v swap and ran into one issue I can't figure out. The Tachometer reads about 30% off of what I think the engine is reving. The car was originally a 1.6 and I think the change in cylinder number has thrown off the tach signal.

Does anyone know a remedy for this problem besides swapping a 325 instrument cluster? Is there a switch on the back of the tach to go from 4 to 6 cylinders(like aftermarket ignition). If I don't get an answer in a bit I'll pull it out and see....

    Thanks,

    Steve

Why just a seta? Any 6 cylinder one should work.

Yup, any 6 cyl coding plug should work. The little white thing that slides out from the front of the cluster.

However... our gauge clusters confuse the shit out of me so there could be an exception or two.

                  Improperly relayed information; perhaps try:

"I ran a coding plug out of an 88seta; worked for me"
