    ZF transmission mounts

I am doing an s52 engine and ZF transmission swap into my 89 325i and Im trying to decide what transmission mounts to use. I have widdled my possible results down to the UUC Motorworks Race transmission mounts ( http://www.amazon.com/UUC-Motorwerks.../dp/B003ANZS9M ) and the Turner Motorsports transmission mount enforcer kit ( http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...m_campaign=TME )

If anyone has used either of these and like or dislike them, or if you would reccomend something else please let me know. THanks

I'm happy with the stock e21 mounts I used. If you want to spend the money I'd go with the UUCs.

can you feel any vibrations with the stock e21 mounts or does it feel pretty solid?

It feels good, solid. You can't bet them for the price.

Well the UUCs are only 40 for a set , so for a high performance part I have no problem spending that much. I haven't even looked at the e21 mounts. I really wantto know what people think of the turnermotorsports set.

im using E21 mounts in conjunction with the AKG mount cups. Works well, very little vibration tranfer. I avoided the UUC ones becuase they are basically solid, and i suspect a lot of vibration transfer... If the car is a track rat then go for the solid ones, if you want to DD it then get something a little softer.

its going to be a daily driver for sure, but its gonna be driven like its on the track! haha
What are the purpose of the mount cups? Just more stability while keeping the vibrations at a minimum?

I had the black street mounts with the enforcers and I loved them. It made it slightly louder in the car but it was a good noise.

the cups stop a lot of lateral movement, i bought them when i had the intentions of using the mechanical fan, since i have scrapped the mechanical fan, but ive left the cups just to stop any unwanted transmission movement...

what was the connection between running a mechanical fan and using those mounts? I've been reading up and i'm thinkin going with a reinforement mount cup like the AKG is the way to go. What do you think about the above link i posted? I think thats my next purchase. i'd rather go AKG over UUC.

I ran the bolt through UUC urethane race mounts in my E46, made a noticeable difference in shift feel, some vibration, but not a big deal. I'll be running the same mounts in my E30 M54 swap.
