I tried my MAF sensor onto the rubber intake boot on my engine It is about 3/16 in diameter larger> will it still work ?It came from another car that had two buttefly valves on th intake manifold.

It should work if you clamp it down gut and tight. I'd check for vacuum leaks tho.
