School me on 6 speed saps please.

OK so I am looking into buying a car that has a 6 speed already in it, I will swap my ZF 5 speed for the 6 speed. I havent looked at the car yet but the tranny was bought from Bekkers Import in 1999 (not from a S54 then) so I am assuming a euro 6 speed, cost was $4900. So what is needed to swap over to my S52 car with the ZF and 3:25 (is my diff a acceptable ratio to use with the 6 speed) Car that I am buying now has a 3:23 Quaife lsd. New UUC clutch/flywheel/PP. Hook it up I want to do this right.

I have 6 speed on my euro S50B32 with 3.25 rear ratio in my E30M3. I think it is quite nice.
1:1 on 5th. Doing 110-120km/h on second gear and around 200 on 4th.

Ended up buying the car, not goingt o swap anything out as its too nice as is. 95 M3 64K 1 owner RMS 3.5 ltr stroker low comp, RMS stg 2 sc, 6 speed, big brembos, etc. What a car. Now I have a nice S52 E30 alpina clone and a very very potent E36 M3 haha fun!!

S50, will post engine specs later if anyone cares, no idea on power but it should be in the 450-500whp range once setup correctly

Here is what I have so far for the engine build, no pics yet as its being detailed and Im beat.

Bore 3.425 (86.92 mm)
Stroke 3.818 (97mm stoke
rod lenght ( custom made rods) 5.315 (133.5 mm for stroker engine) Made by Pauter Rods
3.459 liter engine

compression ratio was 8.8:1 Je pistons - job number151806

top ring 1.0 mm
second 1.2 mm
oil ring 2.8mm

compression distance was too high ( was 1.104- made it 1.064) - had to remove .040 off the deck , so if you order pistons for any reason, be sure to tell JE ...and compensate for any material removed from the deck of the block.

no sound, yes with AC shnitzer headers, SS track pipe and SS rear box it sounds nasty but civil too. Cant wait to get it sorted to make some serious power.

3.425 bore?! Did you sleeve the block? If you didn't I wouldn't trust the block strength under boost. :crazy:

If it's done properly, then that motor must be a monster!
