Here you go again with this stupid Autotune, you need a solid map PERIOD. Nothing can help if your maps are off.

There is no way in hell you are giving the AEM authority to modify that HUGE of a change in any given time. That is just foolish.

E85 and Gasoline are two different animals, you need to run two very different maps man.

You need a computer on hand if AEM cannot switch maps on its own.

    Awesome build Richard.

I am coming out to AZ for labor day, maybe Mitch and I can set something up, cause my buddy just finished his M50 swap, and both of our cars are sure to be the fastest things on the road.

While working on the car today I snapped a couple pics of one of my old pistons. The second pic shows the common porous look you get from detonation.

Well he's running Pauter Rods, so I think he's ok. ;)

And yes a 0.63. He spools quick!

    On 91 he makes around 550whp... ;)

Thanks, I've had others recommend them also-this settles it for me.

Aside from my friend's 673whp 996 Turbo, my buddy's e36 is the fastest car I've been in! :D
    What turbo and fuel?

I think my wastegate will allow as low as 5 psi for during break-in period. After that, I don't know. I'm thinking 500rwhp max, which may take only a bar or so.

Badass build man. What are you going to be using for management? That thing will definitely make some great power with E85. Will it require a separate map...will you have multiple maps depending on the gas/conditions?
    I have an AEM.

I'm not sure what I want to do yet about the gasoline issue, just in case I run low on E85 and can't find a station.

Because I wont always have a laptop on hand I think I may see if I can hook up a switch to enable WBo2 feedback. Since a wideband measures lambda, it'll hold my AFR's where I want them no matter what mixture of fuel I have at the time.

Brake project has not made any headway besides finalizing one of three of the CNC programs I have to make. School begins soon, so sometime this fall semester, hopefully.
