Ok I have a 24v with a 260 now If I switch to a 240 can I use the stock driveshaft for my 260 . I know about The TB issue.

If you use a tranny that came in an e30 is G240 or G260, you need the driveshaft out the e30. You only need the e36 driveshaft if you use a e36 or e34 tranny. The guibo's are different in those cars.

No you need a e36 ds. Period

Whats the difference? Is the trans shorter or longer than the 260? They use the same Guibo? I dont see what would change.
