ZF Trans Weight

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew how much a manual ZF tranny weighs. I did search here and bimmerforums and could come up with weights in the getrag 250 but not the zf, thanks in advance!

It's been about 7 years since I weighed a ZF. Didn't record it, just weighed it before an install and I think it was 78 pounds. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

My ZF310 without any fluids weighed in at about 68lbs on a pallet. Definitely weighs less than an e30 diff without fluids :D

Trying to find my shipping invoice for the exact weight.

Thanks guys. I was thinking it was around 80lbs wet.

I weighed mine before attaching it to the engine and it was 76lbs without the guibo or shift arm components attached, right after a fluid change...
