    Wire Identification

I have no clue what these wires go to. The plug was cut off when I got the harness. I think it might go to the transmission since it was from an auto car. Any help identifying what these two wires go to would be greatly appreciated.

One is brown (figure it is a ground) while the other is white/blue.

Where is it on the harness. Is it on the long end like it would go to the tranny or closer to the top. May be reverse Not sure. Someone will chime in

It's in the same bundle of wires that go up under the intake manifold. I'm pretty sure it goes back under the car just like the O2 sensor because the O2 sensor wire is also cut.

You need to post a better/bigger pic to see were it's coming from the harness.

In my notes, I have this as oil level sender wire that goes to the sender at the bottom of the oil pan on an E34.

Oil Level sender should have 3 wires coming off it, i think the other color is blue/yellow if i remember correct.

If you have everything already connected, determine by process of elimination.
If you don't have everything connected already, find out what each connector is on the harness.

            Should have:

            Engine Coolant Temp
            Coolant Gauge
            Crank position Sensor
            Cam position Sensor
            Intake Control Valve
            Intake Air Temp
            Throttle Position Sensor
            O2 Sensor

            MAF Plug
            Emissions Purge Valve
